Fresh Popcorn

With everything in the news about how bad bagged popcorn is for you, I thought I would share how easy it is to make it with a pot, kernels, and a bit of oil.

Since I already listed the ingredients, let's just jump in!

1. Fill your pot with a small amount of kernels. A small amount goes a LONG way. Pour in enough oil to cover the kernels.

2. Cover with lid

3. Once they start to pop, make sure to shake, like you would a thing of jiffy pop!

4. Remove when almost all kernels are popped. Not like they do in the in the microwave. They will still be fast popping, but your pot will be filled.

5. Pour into a bowl and it's ready to eat. If you like, you can use melted butter and salt!
